Bow-Back Peplum Tank Top Outfit

Bow-Back Peplum Tank Top Outfit

Well, spring was in the air here for three days, and now we’re back to chilly weather, but just for the day.  We’re slowly getting to non-stop warm days, one step at a time.  For now, I’m just happy I was able to get in a few more days of fun springtime activities (and outfits!).

This bow-back peplum tank top is one piece that I was so excited to wear over the weekend.  It’s lightweight and perfect for both spring and summer.  The bows on the back are what sold me on it, but I also love the other details.  The peplum is great for the the days when you’re feeling a little bloated from all those great summer barbecues that are just ahead.  I also like the subtle vertical stripes for a slightly elongating effect.

It pairs really well with skinny jeans.  I’m wearing it with my Abercrombie flower embroidered ripped ankle jeans (see my review of them here).  It will also look adorable with shorts when the hot weather makes its appearance.

This one runs a little large: I’m wearing XXS and it’s slightly big on me.  Definitely size down if possible, unless you’re looking for a bit of an oversized look.

This top is beyond adorable! It runs slightly large, so I recommend sizing down.

The color I’m wearing is already selling out in some sizes, but it also comes in two gingham colors (red/pink & green/blue combinations), and they’re both super cute.  It’s also available in solid colors: white, red, and navy.

Bonus: it’s currently on sale for less than $20! Even better: use code SUNSHINE to get an additional 20% off, bringing the price down to less than $16.  I considered grabbing up a couple more with this deal, but I’m trying to be just a little bit more minimalistic.  I know, I know: I’m not anywhere near what most could consider a minimalist, but I’m trying to do just a little better.  We’ll see how long it takes me to cave.  🙂

I only have one slight complaint: the two bows on the back are self-tie, so they can be tricky for those of us who find this type of thing challenging.  I wish they were permanently tied, but that’s just my personal preference.  Either way, it’s still a beautiful top.

The bows on the back are such a cute added touch! They’re self-tie, so sometimes they come a little bit undone if not tied tightly enough.

Note: I’m wearing old golden metallic wedge sandals in the pics.  They’re unfortunately no longer available, but I’ll provide some similar styles at the bottom of this post.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
